What is Coaching? Coaching is partnering with clients (that's you!) in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaches honor the client as the expert in his or her life and work and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole. Standing on this foundation, the coach's responsibility is to:
Is this religious? Coaching by itself is not religious. However, I am a priest and have a ascribe to theology of coaching which means that I see the Holy Spirit at work in our lives. But this is NOT spiritual direction. I also should point out that I will NOT judge you or your actions when I am coaching you. This is a completely safe and confidential space.
Do you have areas of focus? I do! The are Latino church development, new church starts, and development/stewardship. That said, I can work with any issues wince coaching is all about YOU the client and not any issue.
Do I need to be in Los Angeles? No. All coaching is done via video call or telephone.
What do I need? Mainly, being intentional. Coaching is not for the lazy or unmotivated.
Are you trained for this? I am currently working toward my certification with the ICF, International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach. My training is from CoachNet. This means that I adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics.
How do I know if I am right for coaching? An individual or team might choose to work with a coach for many reasons, including but not limited to the following:
How long does one keep a coach? The length of a coaching partnership varies depending on the individual's or team's needs and preferences. For certain types of focused coaching, three to six months of working may work. For other types of coaching, people may find it beneficial to work with a coach for a longer period. Factors that may impact the length of time include: the types of goals, the ways individuals or teams prefer to work, the frequency of coaching meetings and financial resources available to support coaching.

- Core strengths need to be identified, along with how best to leverage them
